During Term 3, our Kinderland children had the opportunity to experience the process of making their very own pizzas. Through observation, hands-on practice and completing their creations from start to finish, the children not only discovered how a delicious pizza comes together, but also developed patience, fine motor skills and creativity along the way.

Children at Kinderland Preschool @ Tran Nao eagerly explored the different pizza ingredients as they discovered how their favourite meal is made.
Starting with soft dough and ending with warm pizzas fresh from the oven, the children were involved in every step of the experience. They listened carefully to the instructions, explored the ingredients and had lots of fun creating their own pizzas. Some neatly arranged the toppings, while others created imaginative designs. The room was filled with laughter and excitement as everyone proudly showed off their finished creations.

A child at Kinderland Preschool @ Tan Dinh carefully rolls out the dough and shapes the pizza, building confidence and fine motor skills through hands-on learning.
For many children, this was also their first opportunity to see the pizza-making process up close and discover how familiar ingredients come together to create a delicious meal.

Children at Kinderland Preschool @ Vista Verde proudly show off their freshly made pizzas after completing the hands-on activity.
At some centres, the experience became even more meaningful with the participation of parents. From kneading dough side by side to enjoying the finished pizzas together, these shared moments created precious memories for the entire family.

Parents and their child at Kinderland Preschool @ Le Thi Rieng enjoyed making pizzas together, creating meaningful memories during the field trip.
Each pizza taken home was more than just the result of a fun activity. It represented growing confidence, the joy of discovery, and valuable early lessons that the children had quite literally shaped with their own hands. At Kinderland, this is exactly what we hope to achieve through our field trips: providing children with opportunities to learn through all their senses and grow through the many small discoveries they make each day.
