Since 1993, members of The Consular Club and Honorary Consular missions of Ho Chi Minh City has been organizing annual International Charity Bazaar. Proceeds from the sale are redistributed to help the less advantaged in Vietnam. Some of the projects supported by the club includes scholarships to medical care, providing water tanks, renovating children’s shelter homes, schools and more.

This year, the annual bazaar was held on 9 November 2019 at Adora Centre. It is a much-anticipated day of international cuisine, music, dance and fun for families from Ho Chi Minh and the international community. It provided an opportunity for the participating countries to proudly showcase their handmade crafts, music, souvenirs, national cuisine, clothing, and their culture and tradition.

Kinderland International Preschool @ Vista Verde was honoured to be a part of this year’s annual bazaar. Our children were honoured to be invited to perform at the event, marking their first out-of-school performance before a huge crowd.  They put up a rousing and confident dance to the delight of all who were present. Cookies, bookmarks and sensorial jars which were jointly made by our children and teachers were sold at our booth too. Our supportive Kinderland parents were present to encourage our little ones as well.

It was a proud moment for us when Consul-General Mr Roy Kho of the Consulate General of Singapore stopped by our booth and congratulated our children on their excellent performance.

Through this event, our children’s social awareness was heightened as they learn to raise money for charity, doing their part for the community. Our efforts were worthwhile with the support and generosity of our parents and the guests at the bazaar.
