The excitement and anticipation for one of the most heart-warming events of the school year is here. As the school year comes to an end, Kinderland International Preschool @ Vietnam held its Graduation Ceremony cum Year-End Concert on 27 July 2024 at Hotel Majestic Saigon. This grand and sophisticated century-old hotel which has withstand the many changes in Saigon, added a grandeur feel to the graduation ceremony, making it even more memorable. The architectural beauty and rich history of the venue add a sense of significance to our event.
This year, the event was beautifully themed “Colours in Symphony,” a fitting celebration of the vibrant journeys these young learners have embarked on.
The ceremony began with a procession of the Kindergarten Two (K2) graduands into the hall, and their smiles full of pride lit up the room. Parents and family members beamed with pride, capturing this precious moment in photos and videos. The valedictorians represented their cohort and gave their speeches in English and Vietnamese.
Our K2 showcased their musical talents that they have gained from Yamaha Junior Music Course through a simple music ensemble. The performance featured their skills on the keyboard and various percussion instruments such as cymbals, castanets, and triangles.
Besides musical talent, our young gymnasts brought us a different kind of performance as they display their gymnastic moves. They were specially trained for this performance by our enrichment partner JACPA. JACPA is Japan’s largest physical education provider for preschoolers. Through the training, our children have developed flexibility and confidence, moving with grace to the rhythm of the music.
In line with the theme, the different classes from Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten One performed an item each to celebrate the occasion. Our children sang, played musical instruments and danced to various popular songs, highlighting the various colours coming together in symphony. The performances were a testament to the hard work and dedication of the teachers and students, leaving the audience in awe.
The event concluded with a heartwarming finale where all the students, from the youngest pre-nursery to the graduates, gathered on stage to sing the “Thank you song” and presented flowers to their teachers. The sight of the children singing together, representing different colors coming together in symphony, was a powerful reminder of the beauty in diversity within unity.
The graduation and concert was not just a celebration of academic milestones but a reflection of the journey each child has taken. It was a day to honour their growth, creativity, and resilience. As our K2 graduates move on to the next stage of their education, they carry with them the lessons, friendships, and memories made during their early years.
