Kinderland International Preschool at Vista Verde celebrated Children’s Day on 30 May 2025. The event honoured children’s achievements and growth with performances by the children, a culinary experience with their parents, and a special lunch.
Children came to school dressed in costumes representing different countries worldwide and paraded through the residential area, sharing their handmade bookmarks with residents. This act of sharing spread our children’s childhood joy and gave them an opportunity to celebrate Children’s Day with the community.

Parents were invited to a Children’s Day celebration featuring cultural performances showcasing our children embracing diverse global cultures. These included “Hello Vietnam”, a Hawaiian dance (“He Mele No Lilo”), an African song (“Che Che Kule,” also known as “Kye Kule”), and an Irish Céili dance (“Siege of Ennis”). The performances highlighted the children’s confidence and enjoyment.

After which, they teamed up with their parents to create traditional dishes from around the world, including fruit skewers and pastilles. Parents enjoyed both the food and the priceless quality bonding time and experience with their children.

The preschool organized a special lunch featuring children’s favorite dishes prepared by the preschool’s chef. The menu included Vietnamese spring rolls, spaghetti with tomato sauce, French fries, nutritious soup, kimbap, and steamed dumplings. Teachers used this opportunity to discuss the cultural origins and global popularity of these foods. Additionally, there was a cake-making activity with parents.

The children aimed to spread kindness and care within their community by sharing bookmarks made in school. We want our children to grow into global citizens with an open mindset with a love for learning. The teachers and staff wish all children a life filled with love, happiness, and good health. Happy Children’s Day!
