The established Kinderland education system has expanded to eight countries around the region over the last 45 years. In Vietnam, Kinderland continues to provide modern learning environments and inspiring experiential journeys for children.

In conjunction with this Term’s theme on “Countries of the World” and “Connecting with the World” for the Kindergarten One (K1) and Kindergarten Two (K2) children respectively, our students explored the climate characteristics of various continents, with a special focus on Antarctica.

The teachers arranged a field trip to Snow Town to experience snow firsthand.  The children engaged in hands-on activities such as snow sliding and playing with snowflakes in a man-made icy environment with their peers. Through these experiences, they gained a deeper understanding of unique weather conditions in other countries as well as an enhanced awareness of the world around them.

In addition, Kinderland also organized an experiential field trip to the “Miniature City” in Kidzoona for the Pre-Nursery and Nursery children. The children were eager to dress up and role-play as doctors, chefs, shop assistants and police officers. They enjoyed driving the various vehicles associated with occupations too.

Clad in police costumes, the children from Kinderland International Preschool @ Le Thi Rieng, District 10 enjoyed driving the “police car”.

In Kinderland, we believe in the importance of creating real-life experiences for our children.  This helps them relate to what they learn in class and gain a better understanding of familiar professions in the surrounding community.  Through these carefully planned field trips, the children can practice and develop life skills and enhance their communication and collaboration skills with their peers. The children were also able to share with their teachers and parents about their favourite professions and what they would like to be when they grow up.
