Health Talk for Kinderland International Preschool Parents

27 June 2020, Kinderland Vietnam International Preschool proudly hosted a medical talk by Dr. Truong Le Thu Thao from Children Hospital 2, HCMC.

Dr. Truong Le Thu Thao has been in both the public and private medical sectors for nine years. Serving as a Lecturer in Parasitology, University of Medicine (Vietnam National University, HCMC), the talented Dr. Truong is also a Doctor in the Department of Anaesthesia at Children Hospital Campus 2, HCMC. She is also experienced in health programmes that promotes public health. It was a privilege and honour to have Dr Truong at our parenting workshop.

The objective of this talk was to help to educate and create awareness among our parents regarding common illnesses such as Dengue, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Upper Respiratory Tract Infections and others especially now that monsoon season is coming and with the Covid-19 pandemic going on. Parents are concern about how they can keep their children safe and healthy. The talk was held in an intimate group size to allow parents more personal interaction time with the doctor.

Snacks and drinks were also served for the parents to enjoy after the talk. Parents benefitted greatly from this talk and they brought home knowledge and prevention tips to combat against common illnesses!
