Kinderland has partnered with Chuon Chuon Kim Kindergarten (CCK), an award-winning provider of early childhood education in Vietnam, to introduce the Kinderland Integrated Curriculum at all three of its educational centres across southern Vietnam. This partnership is part of Kinderland’s ongoing efforts to deliver quality early childhood education in Singapore and beyond.

Kinderland will roll out the Kinderland Integrated Curriculum across the three centres in phases this year. To ensure a smooth implementation and transition, Kinderland assigned three of its experts – Dr Carol Loy, Senior Director of Curriculum and Professional Development; Ms Susan Tan, Curriculum Specialist; and Ms Beatriz Chua, Head Teacher and Learning Environment Coordinator – to oversee the process.

Furthermore, to prep CCK’s educators, Kinderland conducted a five-day training programme in December 2023 for its teachers and principals, focused on holistic learning through Kinderland’s specialist areas.

Some aspects of the Kinderland Integrated Curriculum have been put in place and running since February 2024. Others, like the Literacy through I.T. Programme and Character-Building A – Z Programme, will be implemented later this year.

The Kinderland Integrated Curriculum addresses all facets of child development like cognition and logical thinking (Coding), aesthetics (Arts and Craft), language (Literacy through I.T. ), physical (KinderFit) and musical development (Children’s Music Programme).

Representatives from Kinderland also met with parents from CCK’s centres in December 2023 to present the new curriculum and classroom changes, as well as build relationships and rapport. Parents were shown around the repurposed classrooms with its designated learning zones and corners.

Parents who attended the session expressed their happiness at Kinderland’s holistic development programme, promoting comprehensive physical, intellectual, and emotional development for students, as well as effective bilingualism.
