Christmas is an annual holiday that is celebrated in unique ways in different countries. Around the world, family members help to decorate the tree and home with bright lights, wreaths, candles, holly, mistletoe, and ornaments. Christmas Day is a time to gather with loved ones and friends, exchange gifts, enjoy delicious food and many more.

This year, on 20 December 2024, Kinderland International Preschool @ Vista Verde organized a Christmas Day for all our students before the winter break began. Our teachers worked together to decorate the school and classrooms, prepare activities for the event. The students came in bright and colourful party costumes.
Our parents and teachers prepared a fruit feast for the children share with their friends.
Our children participated in various activities such as the fashion parade, danced to festive tunes and participated in many Christmas-themed games. These planned activities provided an opportunity for our children to have fun together, building their social skills. Their confidence was boosted as they donned on their Christmas’ costumes while enjoying the Christmas feast specially prepared for them.

In the afternoon, Santa Claus visited the centre and brought a giant bag of gifts for every child. The students cheered loudly, waited excitedly and patiently for their turns to receive their gifts from Santa. They took a picture and thanked him for bringing them gifts.

Christmas celebration in school is not just about festivities, it is also another platform for students to learn about cultural diversity, the importance of coming together and creating many memories to cherish and remember.
