The first six years of early childhood is a remarkable period of growth. During this time, children’s brains develop rapidly, their immune systems strengthen, and their bodies grow taller and stronger every day. Proper nutrition is, therefore not optional; it is foundational. From birth to six months, breastmilk or formula provides complete nourishment. As babies transition to solids, they begin discovering new tastes and textures that support oral development and healthy eating patterns. By the toddler and preschool age, children require a wide variety of nutrients to fuel active play, language development, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth.
At Kinderland, nutrition is approached with structure and intention. The meals adhere to the guidelines of the Vietnam National Institute of Nutrition. They are carefully planned to include a balanced combination of the seven essential food groups: grains, protein, oil/ fats, milk, vegetables, fruits, and sugar. This ensures children receive the right balance of macronutrients and micronutrients necessary for optimal development.

Importantly, meals served are designed to provide approximately 70% of a child’s recommended daily nutritional requirements, in alignment with guidelines issued by the Vietnam Ministry of Health. This gives parents assurance that while their child is in school, the majority of their daily dietary needs are being met through thoughtfully prepared breakfasts, lunches, and snacks.

Our menus are developed collaboratively by a local certified nutritionist together with Kinderland Group nutrition experts. Stringent selection of ingredients and careful cooking methods ensure that global standards of early childhood nutrition are adapted appropriately to local tastes and dietary practices.

Beyond simply serving healthy food, Kinderland nurtures positive eating habits. Children are encouraged to try new foods, understand the importance of balanced meals, and build a healthy relationship with food from an early age. We believe that when every bite is thoughtfully prepared, it cultivates growth and lifelong well-being.
