Kinderland launched E-learning program for students during epidemic

In February 2020, Vietnam government directed all schools to be closed after the TET holidays – to keep our children safe. What the government puts in place, plans to combat the pandemic that is fast spreading around the world.

Since then, teachers and staffs of Kinderland International Preschool @ Vietnam has been busy with cleaning and disinfecting of our environment and preparing Home Learning Kit for our children.

A live e-classroom session with our students and teacher

We understand the importance to keep our children engaged in learning. Kinderland is determined to provide our children the opportunity to a continuous education despite the shutdown. We strived to keep all our learning resources in accordance with our Kinderland themes, as this will allow our children to keep their learning on track.

Our customized bilingual educational videos comprised of story-telling, phonics lessons, reading and much more, in both Vietnamese and English. These were prepared by our team of dedicated Kinderland teachers whom had taken the extra miles to ensure a smooth delivery of the curriculum.

Our children eager to learn about the world around them within the walls of their home

They worked hard at scrutinizing and putting together different types of appropriate content and long hours into editing the videos. Home-based activity sheets were also prepared according to the various age groups.

Our Kindergartens had their first-time experience being exposed to e-Learning via Zoom. The teachers stressed the importance to the children how it was essential for them to understand that even in a disruptive situation, learning must persevere. The Home Learning Kit also gave our staff an opportunity to constantly engage with our children and their families to find out how they were coping with situations.

We are certain if we all stay home and observe high levels of personal hygiene, situation will improve and we can’t wait to have our children back at preschool.
