Where Halloween Fun Becomes a Learning Adventure

On 30th October, all four Kinderland Vietnam centres were bustling with lively Halloween celebrations. From the early morning arrivals, the schools were filled with bright colours as our little ones showed up in their special and adorable costumes. Some transformed into brave superheroes, others sparkled as princesses, and of course, there were many cute “little witches” and “playful spiders” that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Halloween was originally a Western festival celebrated after Autumn harvests and to ward off bad spirits. Over time, it has grown into a celebration of creativity, courage and togetherness. At Kinderland, Halloween is more than just dressing up. It is a chance for children to explore global cultures, express their personalities and experience the joy of giving and receiving through the much-loved Trick-or-Treat tradition.

The festive spirit kicked off with energetic outdoor games such as pumpkin toss, spider web crawl and ring toss. Each activity was thoughtfully designed to strengthen both gross and fine motor skills, helping children become more agile, coordinated and focused. Little faces lit up with excitement as the children took on each fun challenge.

After an active morning, it was time to recharge. The teachers prepared a delightful Halloween buffet that made the children’s eyes sparkle with excitement. Creative dishes like spooky fish and magic tree balls were not only fun to look at but also encouraged the children to feast on their meals. They were free to pick their favourite foods while also learning to balance their plates with healthy greens.

In the afternoon, the Halloween Fashion Show was the highlight of the day. With lively music and warm cheers from teachers and friends, our young models confidently stepped onto the stage and  paraded in their unique costumes. This activity helped children grow more confident, express their feelings and develop early presentation skills.

Every child enjoyed a fun and interactive Halloween celebration, bringing home memories filled with joy and happiness. For us, Halloween at Kinderland is not just a festive occasion, it is a journey where children discover new experiences, enjoy their childhood and create treasured memories.
