Our Kindergarten 2 (K2) children of Kinderland International Preschool @ Vista Verde begin the new year with new and exciting programmes. The children were introduced to two new enrichment programmes, Chinese Speech and Drama and S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math).
Chinese Speech and Drama is a brand-new initiative piloted by Crestar Learning Centre Singapore (CLC). CLC is an enrichment arm under Crestar Education Group – the same parent company as Kinderland. The objective of this program is to introduce the basic Mandarin lessons to our children in Vietnam. This program is conducted by our experienced Mandarin teacher from Singapore via Zoom. Laoshi’s classes are always fun as he uses music, storytelling and dancing to further enliven and enrich his class. Our children have been followed thoroughly in the class and enjoyed class very much. Handouts are also prepared for our children to bring back home after every lesson for children to revising what they learnt in class.

The other interesting enrichment class that is introduced to our children is STEAM programme. STEAM has been gaining popularity among the parents in Vietnam. We were fortunate to get TEKY an enrichment vendor who specialises in STEAM to demonstrate this program to our children in our school. On 28th January 2021, TEKY conducted its first trial lesson for our K2 children. The objective of this activities is to introduce STEAM as a unique enrichment programme to our children. The class went well and this enrichment class is on the pipeline to offer to our children after TET holidays.

Over the next few months we are hoping to contact more enrichment vendors and offer a wide variety of courses for our children in Kinderland International Preschool at Vista Verde.
