Mid–Autumn Festival is an important festival in Vietnam. Kinderland International Preschool @ Vietnam organized a series of exciting activities to celebrate this festival with our students and residents.

On 25th September, Kinderland International Preschool celebrated the festival with our children and parents. We believe that children learn best from experiencing the events and these experiences will be valuable as it stays with them for life.

Our staff dressed up as characters from the Mid-Autumn Legend to welcome our families!

Our children learned about the Mid-Autumn legends and the observances through a variety of interactive and engaging activities at different stations plotted around the preschool. The age-appropriate activities allow children of different age groups to learn best experientially. Story-telling, mooncake baking, lantern decoration, ceramic painting, making handmade cards are some of the activities that allowed our children to immerse themselves in the Vietnamese culture in a fun way.

Parents and children worked in teams as they went from station to station to complete the activities and get their activity card fully stamped to redeem a lantern.

On Sunday 27th September, we were very honored to be invited by the Residents’ Committee of Vista Verde to provide some activities for their Mid-Autumn celebration. Our teachers and staff set up booths with various art activities such as ceramics painting, dough play, cards and lanterns craft. It was a wonderful experience for us as we had the opportunity to interact with our present students and get acquainted with new friends.
