December was a month filled with festivity for the children and staff of Kinderland as we celebrated Christmas on 16 December 2022.

We celebrated Christmas with our children by arranging an array of activities. The children had Christmas carols, Christmas-themed stories, games and crafts. They even decorated Christmas cookies which they brought home. The highlight of the celebration was the special appearance of Santa Claus, getting up close with the children while distributing gifts to all of them.

The appearance of Santa was a well-guarded secret that only the staff and parents knew. Before the celebration, children made a wish list of what they would like Santa Claus to gift them for Christmas. The wish list was then shared with parents for them to prepare, wrap and hand over to the staff for safekeeping till the celebration.

At the celebration, Santa came bearing his sack of gifts. The excitement on the children’s faces and the loud laughter could be seen and heard from afar.

All teachers and staff were overjoyed to watch our kids light up with smiles. Our children were also reminded of the genuine meaning of Christmas – to share, love, and spend time with those we care about and love.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Kinderland International Preschool.
