Tết Trung Thu or Mid-autumn Festival is a popular observance in Vietnam. It is also known in Vietnam as the “Children’s Festival”. This year, Kinderland International Preschool @ Vietnam extended this joyous celebration to our parents. We welcomed our parents to celebrate this joyous festival with their precious children by participating in different school activities together.

Our Vietnamese teachers shared the festival’s legend about a man named Cuội. He was extremely intelligent and kind. Teachers also tell the children another fairy tale story- Chang’e (Vietnamese: Hằng Nga). Everyone enjoyed the storytelling session.

After the tale on Mid-autumn, our parents and children had a great time getting hands-on at making lanterns and mooncakes (“Banh deo”). Both parents and children had a great and memorable time together.
