International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, call for change and celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women. Many have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.

International Women’s Day is celebrated yearly on March 8. In Vietnam, this day is celebrated by people showing their love and respect for women who have made many sacrifices and celebrated their achievements. Women in Vietnam will mostly receive flowers, love and wishes from their loved ones, friends or colleagues. Some families would gather to have dinner with the women, send gifts or have a night-out celebration.

Here at Kinderland International Preschool, we appreciated all our wonderful teachers and staff for the care and dedication they have for our children too. We gifted our staff with a stalk of rose and well wishes for them.

And of course, we cannot forget our beautiful mothers and grandmothers! Our children prepared cards and gifted them a stalk of rose to show their appreciation.
