After months of mandatory school closure, Kinderland International Preschool @ Vista Verde finally opened its doors for our first batch of Kindergarten 2 children on 18 May 2020. Our Nursery and Kindergarten 1 children returned on 25 May 2020, followed by our Pre-Nursery children on 1 June 2020.

Although our children and teachers met regularly via our on-line e-learning sessions, nothing could compare to the feeling and excitement of seeing friends and teachers in person and the joyful “Hellos” echoing through the preschool.

Nevertheless, going back to school after a long break does come with some mixed emotions, for both our parents and children. In preparation for our children’s return, our teachers and staffs have been working diligently during the closure to clean and sanitise every corner of the preschool. They also ensured the learning environment was ready for our children to continue with their learning.

Our friendly nurse was there in the morning to welcome our children. She checked their body temperatures and guided them to wash their hands properly before joining their classes. Through various activities, our teachers helped our children to adjust back into their preschool routine with ease, serving a smooth continuation on their learning journey.

Welcome back to preschool and daily health screening.

Teaching our children the proper way to wash their hands.

Our newly set up outdoor play area was another attraction for our returning children who were excited to see the new play area.

Children are having fun at the newly furnished outdoor playground.

“Going to school is fun. I love to go to school!” said one of our child to his mum at the end of his first day back in preschool.

Lesson time!

I am happy to be back in preschool.
